Roberto Picciau's Diverge & See at Newcastle Contemporary Art

Diverge & See is a solo exhibition by locally based autistic artist Roberto Picciau, running from 8 - 18 September.

The exhibition is the culmination point of a series of workshops held across Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead with neurodivergent adults.

The exhibition, in the foyer of Newcastle Contemporary Art,  features three wall based pieces: an intricate drawing, a collage and digital moving image on a 50” flat screen monitor. The work uses ‘doodling’ as a catalyst for revealing the relationships between neurodivergent attention, processing, and the hierarchies of drawing.

8 - 18 September, Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm

The exhibition is funded by Arts Council England.
