One of the first accredited LVEPs in England
We were one of the first accredited Local Visitor Economy Partnerships (LVEP) in England, leading on the promotion, marketing and development of Newcastle and Gateshead at a local and national level.
Part of a national portfolio of strategic tourism bodies that work in collaboration with local, regional and national stakeholders on shared priorities to support and grow the visitor economy. Accredited by VisitEngland this status enables us to access additional funding for sector-specific marketing initiatives.
Driving visitor demand
We promote Newcastle and Gateshead’s visitor economy to national and international visitors. Creating demand for overnight visitors though the delivery of campaigns, content and media activity working VisitBritain, the private sector and industry to amplify activity in both domestic and international markets.
We lead destination marketing and content activity, building partnerships across the public and private sector and with media to inspire and improve the visitor experience in Newcastle and Gateshead.
