Festive Tales returns to Woodhorn Museum this Christmas
Woodhorn Museum’s much-loved Christmas tradition, Festive Tales, returns this year, with tickets now on sale.
Families can join Santa at Woodhorn Museum in Ashington throughout December for a 30-minute festive experience that combines storytelling, time with Santa and the chance for children to share their Christmas wishes.
Festive Tales has become a regular part of Christmas at Woodhorn, with families returning year after year to enjoy the experience together.
Children can settle down in front of Santa as he reads a festive story, before having the chance to meet him and share their Christmas wishes. Each child also receives a special Christmas gift to take home, and there is an opportunity for families to capture a photo of their visit.
Family festive art activities will also be available to take part in from 12 - 3pm each day as part of the experience.
Sessions will run throughout December, with additional dates in the days leading up to Christmas. Relaxed sessions will also be available each day for families who prefer a quieter, more informal experience.
Tickets are £10 per child, including a special gift. Adults attend free with a valid Woodhorn Museum Annual Pass, which can be purchased online in advance or on the day.
Tickets on sale now. Find out more at northeastmuseums.org.uk/woodhorn/whats-on/festive-tales.
