The brainchild of a busy mum-of-three, Blossom Mini Day Spa & Pamper Parties has been booked out since opening at the former Prince Consort Road Post Office in 2020.
Originally offering day spa packages to children aged from two to 14, the business expanded two years later to include pamper party packages complete with special guest appearances from favourite Disney princesses and characters.
As the business embarks on the next phase of its growth, it’s taking over two adjacent units at The Crescent – Metrocentre’s new hub for independent brands, located in Upper Green Mall – creating a spacious, contemporary setting for little moments of luxury, Be That Girl.
Customers can secure a space in advance by booking online. Alternatively, they can spontaneously pop-in for a mini day spa treatment or to enjoy a custom luxury lip oil experience.
Brand new pamper party packages will also be available to book. Each features a unique twist exclusive to Be That Girl, delivered with the signature 5-star service of Blossom Mini Day Spa.
To help deliver the enhanced offer, the company recently grew from six to 13 part-time colleagues and is expecting to recruit for another three to four roles soon.
Welcoming Be That Girl perfectly sums up the vision of The Crescent. It’s a place where new and growing independent businesses can feel confident and supported bringing their ambitions to life, and where customers can discover something different.
Noah Knapton added, “With each new signing, the unique character of the dedicated indie hub is really starting to take shape, with several more announcements expected in the months ahead.”
I’ve had my eye on Metrocentre for several years now. It’s always been my safe space – somewhere I can go with my own children that has a lovely family feel – and I saw it as the perfect place to expand. When I read about plans for The Crescent, I took it as a sign to go for it.
They added, “Seeing my own children and young customers grow has inspired me to ensure the brand also evolves. There will be a whole range of new experiences catering for the latest trends, each delivered with the same unmistakeable magic, sparkle, and bottomless pink lemonade our young guests know and love.”
Be That Girl is expected to welcome its first customers next month, ahead of the October half-term school holidays, with the new online booking system going live in advance of opening.
