Kabannas Newcastle is a hybrid hotel offering king and twin rooms alongside dorm rooms with 4-14 beds for larger groups. All rooms are ensuite.

Kabannas is a 5 minute walk from Northumberland Street and Eldon Square, the city's main shopping areas as well as minutes away from the Quayside, which has bars, restaurants and a Sunday market. Built on the site of an old prison, the hotel is decorated with pictures of prominent people who were sent there and a map of the old prison in the bar.

There is also an onsite eatery, Little Bao Boy serving delicious Asian fusion food.
