DOOD is a contemporary restaurant on Newcastle Quayside, inspired by the rich culinary traditions and renowned hospitality of Persia and the Levant. Set within a beautifully restored Grade II listed building, DOOD takes guests on a journey along the historic Silk Road through vibrant cuisine, seasonal produce and modern interpretations of time-honoured recipes.

Designed for everything from relaxed lunches and pre-theatre dining to celebrations and special occasions, DOOD combines striking interiors with attentive service to create an experience that is both welcoming and memorable. Since opening in 2024, DOOD has established itself as one of Newcastle's most distinctive dining destinations, with its striking interiors also earning international recognition as a finalist in the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2025.
